BOOMER: Mrs. Milena   (The Fisherman's Advocate, March 26, 1965)

Mrs. Milena Boomer, 75, died at the Colchester County Hospital Sunday, March 14, following a lengthy illness. Born in, Catalina, she was the daughter of the Late George (Thomas) and Martha RUSSELL. She was a member of the Saint James Presbyterian Church. Her husband predeceased her. Surviving are four daughters Gertrude (Mrs. Laurie Bartlett) Truro; Muriel (Mrs. Reid Yuill) Bible Hill; Freda (Mrs. Merle Staples), Hamilton, Ont. Four sons, Reginald, Bible Hill; Frederick, Leonard, Russell all of Truro. Also surviving are five sisters, Mrs. Peter MASON, Mrs. Joseph Mason, Mrs. Mark Lodge Sr., Mrs Mary Sheppard, and Mrs. Alfreda Pardy, all of Port Union, Newfoundland. Funeral service was held from the Kennedy Memorial Residence. Burial in the Robie Street cemetery, Truro, Nova Scotia
